Tour & Taxis offered a range of spaces and facilities perfectly suited to the needs of the European Development Days. Auditoria and lab rooms played host to debates, discussions, presentations and brainstorming sessions. For networking purposes, there were large and small meeting rooms as well as a professional fair.

Tour & Taxis offered a range of spaces and facilities perfectly suited to the needs of the European Development Days. Auditorium
3 auditoria were equipped with state-of-the-art technology including interpretation booths. An integrated interactive system in order to foster debates between panellists, on-site participants and virtual audiences following the discussions via social media. Each auditorium had a capacity of 542 people.

Lab debate rooms
12 lab rooms, with a capacity of 70 people per room for Projects and 40 people for Brainstorming. The lab rooms fostered a more intimate atmosphere for creative brainstorming sessions or more direct and spontaneous exchanges on best practices, lessons learnt, evidence-based analysis and outcomes. Lab sessions took without interpretation. Graphic support was provided for brainstorming sessions.

Meeting rooms
3 large meeting rooms were available, with a capacity of 36 people each . Equipped with a screen and a projector, these spaces hosted closed meetings, presentations, breakfasts or lunches to facilitate networking opportunities.. 4 smaller rooms, with space for up to 12 people per room, offered a more intimate space for networking opportunities and short meetings among forum participants.

Press Conference room
The media centre, with the press conference room and the press studio, was the focal point for journalists, bloggers and social media staff.

Broadcasting
The European Development Days aim to reach out to the wider development community that cannot come to the forum in Brussels. A replay of the auditorium sessions is available online, on each individual session page.

Wifi on site
Wireless access was available to EDD participants on-site to use the EDD App. Limited internet wi-fi was available for participants free of charge.

Catering
Participants could purchase lunch between 11.30 and 15.30 from the Food Trucks Village, in the catering area. Different food trucks offered a varied choice of dishes and refreshments. Water fountains and coffee corners were available in the public lounge.

Interpretation
During the forum, the European Commission's interpretation services (SCIC) provided simultaneous interpretation in English and French in auditoria as well as in the press conference room. An interpretation in sign language was also available in auditoria. Delegations could not provide their own interpreter.
